Hi Caitlin, I'm supporting an applicant from UCL and wanted to check if 'research-specific purposes' includes the applicants salary costs? Also, I'm assuming Overheads (Estates, Infrastructure Techs and Indirects) won't be funded, but I wanted to check with you? Thanks for your help

I also have a question regarding Indirect (or Overhead) costs.  Our Institution requires that we include Indirect Costs in the Budget unless the sponsor (ADDI) has a written policy that either no, or a certain limited %, of costs can be charged as Indirects.  Can you provide me with ADDI's policy on Indirect Costs? Thank you!

Our organisation also requires a statement regarding contribution to indirect costs. Are we able to cost in a % of indirect costs? If not, could you add detail to your scheme guidance accordingly.

Thank you for the questions regarding the use of funds from the fellowship. ADDI can provide a statement to successful fellows regarding contribution to indirect costs, which are capped at 10%. The total award is up to 100,000 USD over two years.

Hi Eddy! Benefits such as conference and manuscript support, mentorship, networking, etc. would be in addition to the financial award. We will work with each fellow to identify opportunities that best advances their research and career goals. Thanks for asking!
