Workspace Hibernation Policy To optimize resources and maintain a secure environment, any workspace with a period of inactivity longer than 30 days will be temporarily hibernated. What Does Hibernation Mean? Hibernation involves temporarily suspending the activity of your workspace. During this period, you will not be able to access your workspace. Notification and Grace Period If your workspace is identified for hibernation, you will receive an email notification. You will then have a grace period of two weeks (14 days) to log in and prevent the hibernation. How to Prevent Hibernation Simply log in to your AD Data Initiative account and make sure to open the workspace within the 14-day window. This action will reset the inactivity timer, and your workspace will continue to function as usual. What Happens if Hibernation Occurs? If no login activity is recorded within the grace period, your workspace will enter hibernation. Don't worry; your data will remain intact for 30 days after you receive the 2nd decommission notification via email.
